Atlanta
Atlanta, the capital of the state of Georgia has had a colorful past wrought with racial tension up through the 1960’s and 1970’s. These days however, Atlanta, Georgia has achieved somewhat of a balance as revitalization projects continue throughout the city bringing jobs and beautification projects to light. If you were to visit Atlanta, unless you lived nearby, you would likely fly into the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. There are a lot of sights and attractions to see and visit. Then there are the Atlanta Hawks, the city’s basketball NBA team that plays at Philips Arena when they play a home game. If ice hockey is your game, then hunker down for a game again at Philips Arena and catch an Atlanta Thrashers game. Soccer is an up and coming sport in Atlanta. You could even watch the city’s soccer team, the Atlanta Silverbacks when they are in a home game.
